Functional Family Therapist

The implementation site utilizes the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model with designated target populations, each with specific referral and reporting requirements. The therapist will provide home-based family therapy services to adolescents ages 10–18 and their families using the Functional Family Therapy model.

Therapists provide, at a minimum, weekly one-hour family therapy sessions within the family’s home environment while supporting families in building healthier relationships, improving communication, and strengthening family stability. Services are typically provided over a period of 8 to 26 weeks, with therapists maintaining a caseload of approximately 8–10 families.
